Abstract
The research on the effect of bovine biol on the yields and quality of forage oat (Avena sativa L.) was carried out in the agricultural year 2015 (February to July) at the Experimental Station Choquenaira Department of La Paz. The climatic conditions were difficult during the period of analysis (reduced rainfall, frosts and reduced light hours) for the crop cycle as March to July is not normally the sowing time for this crop. The genetic material used was forage oats, using local seed purchased in the Sunday fair of Viacha. The liquid manure (biol bovine) is processed through an anaerobic decomposition of beneficial organisms in the Biodigesters during three months of maturation. The area under cultivation was 360 m²with plotsof 180 m²per treatment. The boil-water relation was 50% with a rate of use of 8,33 m³ ha-¹ of bovine biol. The information of yield and quality of forage was analyzed by a descriptive statistical design, in which there are differences between the treatment (T-50% biol) and the control (T-0%biol). The use of bovine biol enriches the value of crude protein, crude fiber and energy value as well as other minerals. Better yields of green matter (M.V.) were obtained in the treatment with biol (T-50% biol) reaching 16,39 t M.V. ha-¹ while the control (without biol) produced only 9,80 t M.V. ha-¹.
