Abstract
La capacitación docente fortalece habilidades pedagógicas, mejorando el desempeño y favoreciendo una enseñanza efectiva. En el contexto de una universidad privada en Lima, se determinó la influencia de la capacitación docente (CD) sobre el desempeño de 100 profesores, utilizando un tipo de investigación correlacional. El instrumento para medir la CD incluyó 22 ítems distribuidos en 3 dimensiones. La variable desempeño docente (DD) constó de 15 ítems en 3 dimensiones. Los resultados revelaron una relación positiva significativa entre CD y DD, respaldada por un coeficiente de determinación R2 de 0,553 a un nivel de significancia de α=0,05. Asimismo, se identificaron diferencias significativas entre las diversas dimensiones de la CD y su desempeño. En conclusión, Estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de la capacitación en el desarrollo profesional del docente, influyendo directamente en su desempeño. Además, resalta de la importancia de las estrategias efectivas de capacitación para la calidad de la enseñanza.

Likewise, significant differences were identified between the various dimensions of CD and its performance. In conclusion, these findings underscore the importance of training in teachers' professional development, directly influencing their performance. In addition, it highlights the importance of effective training strategies for the quality of teaching.
