Manejo del prolapso uterino en el embarazo con pesario vaginal: reporte de caso

Abstract
El prolapso de órganos pélvicos (POP) durante el embarazo no es algo común y se cuenta con poca información al respecto. El POP puede tener efectos negativos en la embarazada y el producto. No existe una guía estandarizada sobre el manejo para prolapso en pacientes embrazadas, por lo que el tratamiento debe ser individualizado. El pesario vaginal se usa como tratamiento no quirúrgico con el objetivo de prolongar al máximo el período gestacional, reduciendo el prolapso y síntomas en la paciente. La experiencia del uso de pesario vaginal tipo "anillo" fue exitosa en nuestro caso.
Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) during pregnancy is not common and there is little information about it. POP can have negative effects on the pregnant woman and the product. There is no standardized guideline on the management of prolapse in pregnant patients, so treatment must be individualized. The vaginal pessary is used as a non-surgical treatment with the objective of maximally prolonging the gestational period, reducing prolapse and symptoms in the patient. The experience of using a "ring" type vaginal pessary was successful in our case.
