Abstract
Las tecnologías de la información desempeñan un papel fundamental en la formación de profesionales capaces de responder a las demandas actuales. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los niveles de actitud hacia la programación y el diseño web en estudiantes de educación superior tecnológica. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, con un diseño descriptivo. La muestra incluyó a 45 estudiantes del quinto ciclo del turno diurno del Instituto Manuel Seoane Corrales, Lima, a quienes se aplicó un cuestionario. Los resultados mostraron que el 44 % de los estudiantes presentó una actitud alta hacia el diseño web, mientras que el 27 % mostró una actitud alta hacia la programación. Se concluye que los estudiantes del quinto ciclo de la carrera de Computación e Informática presentan una mejor actitud hacia el diseño web en comparación con la programación, lo que sugiere una inclinación mayoritaria hacia el desarrollo en este campo.

The objective of this study was to identify the levels of attitude towards programming and web design in students of technological higher education. A quantitative, non-experimental approach was used, with a descriptive design. The sample included 45 students of the fifth cycle of the day shift of the Manuel Seoane Corrales Institute, Lima, to whom a questionnaire was applied. The results showed that 44 % of the students presented a high attitude towards web design, while 27 % showed a high attitude towards programming. It is concluded that the students of the fifth cycle of the Computer Science and Informatics career present a better attitude towards web design compared to programming, which suggests a majority inclination towards development in this field.
