Ansiedad, autoestima y hábitos de estudio en relación al rendimiento académico en estudiantes universitarios

Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación de la ansiedad, la autoestima y los hábitos de estudio con el rendimiento académico de estudiantes universitarios. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y nivel correlacional causal, con una muestra de 130 estudiantes de una universidad en Lima. Los resultados revelaron que la ansiedad se presentó en un nivel bajo en el 36.9 % de los participantes, en un nivel medio en el 45.4 % y en un nivel alto en el 17.7 %. En cuanto a la autoestima, se observó un nivel bajo en el 28.5 %, un nivel medio en el 52.3 % y un nivel alto en el 19.2 %. Por otro lado, los hábitos de estudio se clasificaron en nivel bajo en el 19.2 %, nivel medio en el 53.8 % y nivel alto en el 26.9 %. Se concluyó que la ansiedad, la autoestima y los hábitos de estudio se relacionan significativamente con el rendimiento académico. Además, los hábitos de estudio mostraron una mayor correlación con el rendimiento académico (p = 0.000), seguidos por la autoestima (p = 0.009) y la ansiedad (p = 0.004).
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety, self-esteem and study habits and academic performance of university students.
