Abstract
Los índices bursátiles en el mercado de valores son percibidos como una herramienta decisional. Cada mercado tiene características diferentes, por ende, los valores de los índices bursátiles en cada país son distintos y varían en función al comportamiento del mercado. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo la elaboración de un modelo de cálculo de índice bursátil acorde a la realidad financiera de Bolivia en base al sustento teórico y a los pilares ya establecidos, tales como el índice MERVAL de la Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires, IPSA Select de la Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago y el S&P/BVL Select de la Bolsa de Valores de Lima, y su posterior operacionalizacion.
The stock market indexes in the stock market are perceived as a decisional tool. Every market has different characteristics, therefore, the values of the indixes in each country are different and varies depending on the behavior of the market.
