Abstract

Necessity of a quality management system and its certification in Mrida companiesNowadays the organizations of Merida as those of the rest of the world in front of the globalization, the international agreements signed by their countries, the necessity to change their image, competitiveness and to satisfy the consumers' expectations, understand the benefits and the necessity to count on quality management system, certified or not by an external organism.This article that is part of a field investigation, have the following main objectives: a) expose the benefits of having certified quality system; b) determine the quantity of companies in Mrida State that at the present counts on a quality management system certified with ISO 9000 norms.
