EDUCACIÓN Y COMPETENCIAS MEDIÁTICAS FRENTE A LA DESINFORMACIÓN

Abstract

En el contexto de desinformación exis­tente en la esfera digital internacional, destaca la presencia de noticias falsas (fake news) que deliberadamente pueden causar daño, confundir o manipular a los ciudadanos, creando desconfianza en las normas, instituciones o en las estrategias definidas y consensuadas democrática­mente. En ese contexto queda expuesta la importancia de fortalecer la educación y competencias mediáticas (saber, saber hacer y saber ser) de prosumers que pro­ducen y consumen contenido, de forma tal que se oriente el acceso y uso a los medios, pero también la comprensión crí­tica ante los mensajes.

In the context of disinformation existing in the international digital sphere, the presence of fake news stands out, which can deliberately cause harm, confuse or manipulate citizens, creating distrust in the norms, institutions or in the defined strategies and democratically agreed. In this context, it is exposed the importan­ce of strengthening the education and media skills (knowing, knowing how to do and knowing how to be) of prosu­mers who produce and consume content , in such a way that access and use of the media is oriented, but also the critical understanding of the messages.
