Abstract
Ego-ecology (Zavalloni & Louis Guerin, 1984) presents psychosocial identity as a dynamic assembly, which reflects the individual's interactions between himself and his sociocultural surroundings. Starting off from this theoretical stance, we have sought to explore the question of identity as one that involves creation, capacity and task. IMIS methodology (Multistate researcher of social identity) based on an eminently discursive analysis allows us to identify power-words hich "activate passion, posses a will and a final task" (Zavalloni & Louis Guerin) and which contain the individual's identifying system. This in turn takes us to his history and personal experiences. An in-depth study will allow us to evaluate the development of these power-words through time.
