Abstract
La igualdad de género en la educación preescolar es fundamental para el desarrollo de una sociedad más equitativa. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo describir las manifestaciones de igualdad de género en los niños de la Institución Educativa Jesús María, ubicada en Ucayali. Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo simple, con una muestra conformada por 26 niños de 5 años. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron la observación y la entrevista, mediante una ficha de observación y un cuestionario estructurado. Los resultados revelaron que los equipos conformados por niños y niñas muestran un nivel deficiente de igualdad de género. Asimismo, se identificó una marcada influencia de estereotipos socioculturales en las preferencias de juguetes, colores, juegos y elecciones vocacionales. Se concluye que la igualdad de género aún no se ha consolidado en este grupo etario, lo que evidencia la necesidad de intervenir desde la etapa inicial.
