Factores motivacionales e higiénicos del personal de enfermería en una unidad de cuidados intensivos

Abstract
This article research aimed to determine the motivational and hygienic factors of nurses working in the Instituto Autónomo Hospital Universitario de Los Andes. Field study, descriptive and transversal, with a sample population of 30 nurses, for which a questionnaire type self-administered instrument, which consisted of three parts was used: sociodemographic and occupational data, motivational factors and hygiene factors, the latter two with Likert scale of five options: always almost always, sometimes, rarely, never. As for the motivational factors describe that: always the nursing professional makes you feel accomplished personally, professionally and spiritually (73.3%); always satisfies care for and serve others (86.7%); always seeing the recovery of a patient suits you and motivates you to keep doing it with enthusiasm (73.3%); always their work contributes directly to the achievement of the objectives proposed in the unit (70%); always every action performed in their job assumes responsibility (86.6%); always the responsibility prevents miss work daily (93.3%), provided the unit allows you to work independently (60%) and to maximize their abilities and qualities (60%). Moreover, the hygiene factors of concern that there is always good communication between co-workers (53.3%) and the group never makes you feel uncomfortable (a) (60%). In conclusion, the motivational factors of nurses are realization, work itself, responsibility and promotion; and hygiene factors are interpersonal relationships.
