Abstract
Abordando la problemática que tienen actualmente tanto individuos como organizaciones al momento de equilibrar el trabajo y la familia, en la presente investigación se realizó un estudio del compromiso organizacional, con el objetico de comparar esta variable psicológica en el personal de una empresa de alimentos perteneciente al sector industrial en la ciudad de La Paz, en función de que tengan o no, hijos que sean dependientes de los mismos. Se utilizó una metodología de tipo descriptivo comparativo, donde se determinó que existe una diferencia significativa del compromiso organizacional en los 119 empleados participantes. A partir de los resultados, se pudo determinar que la diferencia puntuada por ambos grupos (con hijos = 90,42 y sin hijos = 84,02) es significativa al 5% de error.
Addressing the problem that both individuals and organizations currently have when balancing work and family, in the present investigation a study of organizational commitment was carried out, with the objective of comparing this psychological variable in the personnel of a food company that belongs to the industrial sector in the city of La Paz, depending on whether or not they have children who are dependent on them. A comparative descriptive methodology was used, where it was determined that there is a significant difference in the organizational commitment measured in 119 participating employees.
