Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre gerencia social y sostenibilidad entre 2000 y 2025 a través de un análisis bibliométrico. El estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo y efectúa un análisis bibliométrico a partir de 71 artículos originales indexados a Scopus. Los datos revelan un aumento constante desde 2018, alcanzando sus puntos máximos en 2021 y 2023, y una alta concentración de la producción en Brasil. Las redes de coautoría muestran fragmentación y pequeños grupos aislados. La coocurrencia de palabras clave indica que sustainability, social management y sustainable development son los conceptos que estructuran la literatura. En el mapa temático se señalan zonas consolidadas y líneas emergentes menos desarrolladas. La investigación concluye que la producción científica en gerencia social y sostenibilidad ha crecido desde 2018, pero con concentración geográfica e institucional y débiles redes colaborativas. También identifica una estructura temática con núcleos consolidados y líneas emergentes poco desarrolladas.
The study aimed to analyze the scientific output on social management and sustainability between 2000 and 2025 through a bibliometric analysis. It adopts a quantitative approach and conducts a bibliometric analysis based on 71 original articles indexed in Scopus. The data reveal a steady increase since 2018, reaching its highest points in 2021 and 2023, with a high concentration of publications in Brazil. Co-authorship networks show fragmentation and small, isolated groups. The co-occurrence of keywords indicates that sustainability, social management, and sustainable development are the core concepts structuring the literature. The thematic map highlights consolidated areas and less-developed emerging lines. The study concludes that scientific production on social management and sustainability has grown since 2018, but remains geographically and institutionally concentrated, with weak collaborative networks. It also identifies a thematic structure with consolidated cores and underdeveloped emerging themes.
