Abstract
This article intends to point out some of the circumstances that would help understand what happened in the world the last fifty years. It is important to say that any period of time develops a particular discourse type, which builds up and cross over the subjective ties of those who live it. Nevertheless, it is important to warn that the elaboration of a text implies a cutting and the election of a pathway to locate the presence of events and its effects at the origin of movements with new propositions, which would leave their statements for the future in politics, social order and in the academy. So, this proposal to review the agitation of that time is a reading that examines decisive facts such as the events of May 1968 in France, some intellectual debates y and the radical criticism to the social and institutional order. As for this point it is important to evoke the Catholic Church experience on its new view and its engaged posture, which did not stay aside from the historical moment, as it generated social and political movements and polemic discussions among intellectuals. Same wise, the presence of Psychoanalysis from the Lacan perspective is to be evocated because of the fecundity and innovation of its singular proposal on the dynamic and variable construction of notions such as discourse and social tie. Reviewing that period and those themes around some of the contemporary challenges lead us to open questions and new reflections in the presence of what comes upon and touch us in this new century.
