Autoestima, violencia familiar y rendimiento académico en estudiantes universitarios peruanos

Abstract
La violencia familiar afecta a la autoestima de los diferentes miembros de la familia y a su vez, al rendimiento académico. La investigación es de tipo correlacionar. La muestra estuvo integrada por 55 estudiante universitarios. Para la recolección de datos, el instrumento usado para la variable autoestima fue la escala de Coopersmith (1959), adaptada de Lachira (2013) integrado por 25 ítems, distribuidos en 3 dimensiones: general, social y familiar. En el caso, de la variable violencia familiar se usó el cuestionario de violencia familiar (CVIFA) de Altamirano (2020), que cuenta con 46 ítems distribuidos en dos dimensiones: violencia física y violencia psicológica. La prueba de chi cuadrado mostro que todos los modelos son significativos (p<0.05), y el indicador pseudo R2 de Nagelkerke oscila entre 0.6822 para M1 y 0.9606 para M4. La autoestima y la violencia familiar influyen de manera significativa en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes universitarios.

For data collection, the instrument used for the self-esteem variable was the Coopersmith scale (1959), adapted from Lachira (2013), composed of 25 items, distributed in 3 dimensions: general, social and family.
