Mondiacult 2025: la nueva agenda del multilateralismo cultural

Abstract

Barcelona hosted the latest edition of Mondiacult, the World Conference on Cultural Policies, promoted by UNESCO. This article is a chronicle of the development of the conference and the side events, as well as of the debates that have led to the adoption of the final document of Mondiacult 2025, which will set the global agenda of cultural policies. It also reflects on his legacy and the great challenges of cultural multilateralism linked to climate action and the Eurocentric cultural framework, as well as to Artificial Intelligence.
