Desigualdad de género en la red. Análisis semiótico del videoclip musical 'La cumbia feminazi'

Abstract

La presente investigación desarrolla un análisis semiótico del videoclip musical "La cumbia feminazi" teniendo como finalidad explorar y describir los signos interpretativos y el contenido lírico de aquel material audiovisual. En la actualidad, el estudio de la semiótica audiovisual favorece la interpretación de los videoclips musicales, orientando a la comunidad a entender de mejor manera las ideas, imágenes y sonidos que se transmiten en dicho contenido musical. El estudio es de enfoque cualitativo, de tipo descriptivo y diseño hermenêutico. Entre los resultados encontrados, se observa como aún en la sociedad actual se buscan mantener ciertos 'estereotipos': la mujer solo debe dedicarse a su casa y crianza de los hijos, buscando callar a aquellas mujeres que desean romper estos esquemas sociales; además de distinguirse que el hombre no reconoce el machismo que ejerce en cada accionar de su vida, ya sea en el trabajo u hogar. Se concluye que el contenido de "La cumbia feminazi" muestra las complejidades de las dinámicas culturales y discursivas relacionadas con el feminismo y la equidad de género, proporcionando insights significativos sobre las percepciones y debates en torno a estas temáticas, contribuyendo así a la comprensión más amplia de la cultura contemporánea.The goal of the current study is to explore and describe the interpretative signals and lyrical content of the music video 'La cumbia feminazi' through a semiotic analysis. At the moment, audiovisual semiotics research emphasizes how music video clips should be interpreted in order to help the public comprehend the concepts, imagery, and audio that are conveyed in that musical material. The study is a qualitative approach, descriptive and hermeneutic design. The findings show that, even in today's society, efforts are made to uphold certain 'stereotypes': women should limit their responsibilities to the home and raising their children, and women who defy these social norms are silenced. It also shows that men fail to acknowledge the machismo they exhibit in all of their interactions, whether at work or at home. In summary, 'La cumbia feminazi's' content demonstrates the intricacies of the discursive and cultural dynamics surrounding feminism and gender equality, offering important insights into the perspectives and discussions surrounding these subjects and thereby advancing a more comprehensive understanding of the wide range of modern culture.
