Abstract
The most frequent cause of acute renal failure in pediatrics is the hemolytic uremic syndrome (hemolytic anemia, renal failure and thrombocytopenia). It is presented four cases with the antecedent of diarrhea, three of those required acute peritoneal dialysis, one with severe neurological commitment. The evolution was satisfactory in all. It is important the log term pursuit for the risk of renal sequels, proteinuria, arterial hypertension and chronic renal failure.
