Competencias matemáticas en estudiantes de bachillerato: una revisión sistemática

Abstract
El aprendizaje de las matemáticas contribuye a desarrollar el pensamiento lógico, la resolución de problemas y la toma de decisiones informadas. El objetivo del presente artículo fue analizar el estado de las investigaciones relacionadas con el uso de estrategias de enseñanza y recursos didácticos orientados a superar las dificultades cognitivas y conceptuales que afectan el desarrollo de las competencias matemáticas en estudiantes de bachillerato. La metodología utilizada fue la revisión sistemática cualitativa en las bases de datos Scopus, Web of Science, y SciELO, entre 2017 y 2025. Para estructurar el proceso se empleó la guía actualizada PRISMA, considerando 20 estudios que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados destacan que el aprendizaje activo, la contextualización, la tecnología, la gamificación y los enfoques culturalmente receptivos son clave para el desarrollo de competencias matemáticas en bachillerato. Se concluye que estas estrategias minimizan las dificultades cognitivas y conceptuales e incrementan la motivación, facilitan la comprensión y promueven una ciudadanía crítica y la colaboración estudiantil.

The objective of this article was to analyze the state of research related to the use of teaching strategies and teaching resources aimed at overcoming cognitive and conceptual difficulties that affect the development of mathematical skills in high school students. The methodology used was a qualitative systematic review in the Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO databases, between 2017 and 2025. To structure the process, the updated PRISMA guide was used, considering 20 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The results highlight that active learning, contextualization, technology, gamification, and culturally responsive approaches are key to the development of mathematical skills in high school. It is concluded that these strategies minimize cognitive and conceptual difficulties and increase motivation, facilitate understanding, and promote critical citizenship and student collaboration.
