Abstract
La investigación tuvo como propósito examinar cómo la modernización de la gestión pública incide en el desempeño de los servidores estatales. Para tal fin, se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de literatura científica, acompañada de un análisis de contenido que permitió organizar evidencias y realizar una valoración crítica de los factores relacionados con ambas variables. Los hallazgos muestran que la incorporación de reformas administrativas, el uso de tecnologías digitales, la gestión del talento humano y el fortalecimiento de la gobernanza ejercen una influencia decisiva en la productividad y la calidad del trabajo en el sector público. Asimismo, se advierte que la modernización exige un enfoque integral que combine eficiencia, ética y participación, lo que refuerza su papel como vía hacia una administración estatal más confiable y cercana a la sociedad.
The purpose of the research was to examine how the modernization of public management affects the performance of civil servants. To this end, a systematic review of scientific literature was carried out, accompanied by a content analysis that allowed for the organization of evidence and a critical assessment of the factors related to both variables. The findings show that the incorporation of administrative reforms, the use of digital technologies, human talent management, and the strengthening of governance have a decisive influence on productivity and work quality in the public sector. Likewise, it is noted that modernization requires a comprehensive approach that combines efficiency, ethics, and participation, which reinforces its role as a path toward a more reliable state administration that is closer to society.
