Abstract

Greater residual renal function at the beginning of the dialysis program and its persistence in such treatment improves outcome and reduces mortality of patients. Objectives: Mesure residual renal function in peritoneal dialysis patients at Obrero No 1 Hospital, CNS, La Paz, Bolivia. Determine the relationship of residual renal function with nutritional status, morbidity, anemia, prognosis and survival.
