Abstract
El hostigamiento sexual laboral constituye una manifestación de violencia de género que afecta la dignidad, el bienestar y el desarrollo profesional de las personas trabajadoras, particularmente a las mujeres. El objetivo del estudio es interpretar cómo la aplicación de medidas preventivas de protección a nivel funcional opera frente a actos de hostigamiento sexual laboral en trabajadoras del sector público de Ica, durante 2023. El enfoque cualitativo, paradigma interpretativo, fenomenológico. La muestra conformada por 10 personas. Para recoger la información se utilizó la guía de entrevista y el instrumento con preguntas semiestructuradas. Los resultados mostraron que, el hostigamiento sexual en los ambientes laborales de instituciones del estado se ha normalizado. Se hace necesario que las medidas, políticas y lineamientos preventivos sean aplicados oportunamente. Se concluye que, la aplicación de medidas preventivas de protección a nivel funcional, protegería contra actos de hostigamiento sexual laboral a trabajadoras del Sector Público en Ica, basado en objetivos claros y bien definidos, facilitando la denuncia para el hostigado.

The objective of this study is to interpret how the application of preventive protection measures at the functional level works against acts of workplace sexual harassment among female public sector workers in Ica during 2023. The qualitative approach, interpretive paradigm, and phenomenological approach were used. The sample consisted of 10 people. An interview guide and an instrument with semi-structured questions were used to collect information. The results showed that sexual harassment in the work environments of state institutions has become normalized. It is necessary that preventive measures, policies, and guidelines be implemented in a timely manner. It is concluded that the application of preventive protection measures at the functional level would protect female public sector workers in Ica against acts of workplace sexual harassment, based on clear and well-defined objectives, facilitating the reporting process for the victim of harassment.
