Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between family social climate and school coexistence in first-year secondary school students at the Commercial Secondary Educational Institution No. 45 "Emilio Romero Padilla" in Puno. Methodologically, the research corresponds to the quantitative approach, of a basic type, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and a descriptive correlational level. The studied population consisted of 997 students enrolled in the 2023 school year; while the sample was non-probabilistic and intentional, and consisted of 222 first-year secondary school students. To collect the data, the Family Social Climate Scale by Moos and the School Coexistence Questionnaire by Ortega were used as instruments. The results of the research show a very low and significant positive correlation between the variables studied, with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.145* and a P value of 0.031, with a margin of error of 0.05 (5%). Therefore, it was concluded that the higher the level of a student's family social climate, the higher the quality of school coexistence within the educational institution.
