El mestizaje, identidad que construye ciudadanía en el Estado Plurinacional

Abstract

Este trabajo estudia la exclusión del mestizo como referente de identidad que construye ciudadanía en Bolivia. La originalidad de este estudio radica en demostrar como una identidad es excluida por el sentimiento de pertenencia racial. El Mestizaje, durante varios siglos fue uno de los referentes que cohesionó a los individuos, sin importarle las desigualdades. Por el contrario, utilizó esas desigualdades para unir a todo aquel que se identificaba así mismo como mestizo.Summary This work studies the exclusion of the mestizo as a reference of identity that builds citizenship in Bolivia. The originality of this study lies in demonstrating how an identity is excluded bythefeelingof racial belonging. The Miscegenation, for several centuries, was one of the references that united individuals without caring about inequalities. On the contrary, it used these inequalities to unite all those who identified themselves as mestizos.
