El transporte público en Santa Cruz, una deuda con la ciudad: a debt to the city
Abstract
El sistema de transporte urbano público de microbuses se ha convertido en uno de los problemas más complejos de resolver en Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Una investigación indaga en la lógica organizacional, de gestión, de relación con el Estado y de intervención en el territorio urbano de este sector, y concluye con sugerencias de políticas que el gobierno municipal podría aplicar a favor de un sistema de transporte eficiente.
The public urban bus transport system has become one of the most complex problems to be addressed in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. This research examines the organization and management of this sector, its relationship with the state and its impact on the urban territory. It concludes with some policy suggestions that the municipal government could use to bring about an efficient transport system.
