Abstract
Las tecnologías virtuales, como Mathway, han transformado el aprendizaje autónomo al fomentar la interactividad y mejorar la accesibilidad en la enseñanza de las matemáticas. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el impacto del efecto de Mathway en la habilidad de resolver problemas relacionados con la gestión de datos e incertidumbre entre los estudiantes de cuarto año de secundaria en la Institución Educativa "El Amauta" de la Universidad Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño cuasi-experimental, que incorporó evaluaciones pre-test y post-test en un solo grupo. Los hallazgos revelaron una mejora notable en la capacidad de los estudiantes para gestionar datos de manera efectiva. La media del pretest fue de 6.8390 y la del postest alcanzó 8.3150, evidenciando un aumento notable. La diferencia media de -1.476, con un valor t de -9.016 y una significancia bilateral de 0.000, confirma que esta mejora es estadísticamente significativa, sugiriendo que Mathway ha facilitado el desarrollo de competencias matemáticas.
Virtual technologies, such as Mathway, have transformed autonomous learning by promoting interactivity and improving accessibility in mathematics education. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of Mathway on the ability to solve problems related to data management and uncertainty among fourth-year high school students at the "El Amauta" Educational Institution of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University. A quantitative approach was used with a quasi-experimental design that included pre-test and post-test evaluations in a single group. The findings revealed a notable improvement in the students' ability to manage data effectively. The pre-test mean was 6.8390, and the post-test mean reached 8.3150, showing a significant increase. The mean difference of -1.476, with a t-value of -9.016 and a bilateral significance of 0.000, confirms that this improvement is statistically significant, suggesting that Mathway has facilitated the development of mathematical competencies.
