Actitudes frente a la investigación cualitativa por estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad en Colombia: Una experiencia en el aula

Abstract
Resumen: Introducción: La investigación es un componente esencial del proceso educativo para los alumnos de la especialidad de Enfermería; el objetivo de este estudio fue conocer las actitudes de los estudiantes de enfermería frente a la investigación cualitativa. Material y métodos: Narrativa cualitativa y de reflexión mediante la técnica de grupo focal con cuatro estudiantes de diferentes semestres del programa de enfermería. Resultados: Los estudiantes que participaron en el grupo focal, mostraron una cierta cantidad de vivencias y en sus actitudes reflejan temor, ansiedad y miedo en la ejecución y apropiación del conocimiento frente a la investigación cualitativa. Así mismo son conscientes que es una metodología indispensable en la formación como enfermero. Discusión: en el ámbito de la investigación sanitaria, la investigación cualitativa representa todas las formas de investigación en salud. una revolución epistemológica, una aproximación a lo subjetivo edificada en torno a las reflexiones sobre las metáforas relacionadas con la salud, la enfermedad, la vida, la muerte, generando oportunidades para la existencia desarrollo de nuevas visiones epistemológicas basándose en la confluencia multifacética. Los estudiantes de enfermería deben de manera agigantada mantener una actitud positiva frente al rigor metodológico que demanda la ruta cualitativa ya que como futuros proveedores de salud deben adquirir conocimiento solido frente a este campo.
Abstract: Introduction: Research is an essential component of the educational process for students in the Nursing specialty; the objective of this study was to learn about nursing students' attitudes towards qualitative research. Material and methods: Qualitative narrative and reflection through the focus group technique with four students from different semesters of the nursing program. Results: The students who participated in the focus group showed a certain number of experiences and their attitudes reflect fear, anxiety and fear in the execution and appropriation of knowledge regarding qualitative research. They are also aware that it is an indispensable methodology in their training as nurses. Discussion: in the field of health research, qualitative research represents all forms of health research. an epistemological revolution, an approach to the subjective built around reflections on metaphors related to health, illness, life, death, generating opportunities for the development of new epistemological visions based on the multifaceted confluence. Nursing students must maintain a positive attitude towards the methodological rigor demanded by the qualitative route, since as future health care providers they must acquire solid knowledge in this field.
