Abstract
En el proceso de aprender un idioma, tanto las perspectivas innatas como las externas influyen significativamente en la relación entre el estudiante y el inglés. Estas variables determinan el comportamiento y la disposición de los estudiantes hacia la adquisición de un idioma desconocido. Con el objetivo de evaluar la competencia en la producción escrita del inglés en estudiantes de secundaria de una escuela estatal, se utilizó un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo y descriptivo-exploratorio. Se aplicó un test de producción escrita a 305 estudiantes de segundo y cuarto grado. Los resultados mostraron que el 45% no respondió adecuadamente, atribuyéndose esto a la falta de estrategias pedagógicas motivadoras, como la escasez de hábito de lectura y el desconocimiento de vocabulario. Se concluye que las estrategias docentes son fundamentales para fortalecer la capacidad de escribir, y el uso de herramientas tecnológicas motivadoras puede fomentar el aprendizaje continuo. Es esencial que los estudiantes encuentren placer en aprender a través de actividades que promuevan su desarrollo.

These variables determine the behavior and disposition of students towards the acquisition of an unknown language. In order to assess the written production competence of English in secondary school students from a state school, a quantitative and descriptive-exploratory methodological approach was use. A written production test was applies to 305 second and fourth grade students. The results showed that 45% did not respond adequately, attributing this to the lack of motivating pedagogical strategies, such as poor reading habits and lack of vocabulary knowledge. It is conclude that teaching strategies are essential to strengthen the ability to write, and the use of motivating technological tools can encourage continuous learning. It is essential that students find pleasure in learning through activities that promote their development.
