El concepto de rey, reino y territorio en las Siete partidas

Abstract

Este articulo revisa la nocion de Rey, Reino y Territorio como los elementos centralesdel poder politico tal como era concebido por Alfonso X de Castilla y Leon “El sabio”durante el siglo XIII. El interes de esta teoria para la investigacion esta en la exposicionde un esquema complete de un rey poderoso. En Europa, en esa epoca, los reyes, lospapas y la nobleza luchaban por la supremacia y el esquema de Alfonso nos proporcionauna de las primeras teorias inclinadas hacia el bando real. La analogia macrocosmos es el argumento principal para explicar toda la estructura, el rol de cadaelemento y el contacto entre Dios y el rey. The concept of king, kingdom and territory in las Siete Partidas Abstract This paper reviews the notions of king, kingdom and territory as the central elements of thepolitical power in Alphonse the Tenth “The wise” of Castile and Leon during the thirteencentury. The interest of this theory for research is that it exposes a complete scheme ofa powerful king. In Europe, at that time, kings, popes and nobility were fighting for thesupremacy and Alphonse’s scheme provides us with of the first examples of a theoryleaned on the side of the kings. The macrocosmic microcosmic analogy was used byAlphonse as the main argument to explain the whole structure, the role of each elementand the contact between God and the king.
