Abstract
Resumen** En este artículo presento resultados de un trabajo de investigación en el que me interesa recuperar algunas experiencias y formas de resistencias de los binni yati de Asunción Ixtaltepec, Oaxaca, en México, comunidad a la que pertenezco. En este artículo desarrollo en particular el análisis de la cueva Bá cuana, que forma parte del patrimonio de mi comunidad y que es considerado por sus habitantes, al igual que por otras comunidades, como un espacio sagrado. Se partió de una perspectiva hermenéutica dialógica, considerando que soy miembro de la comunidad. Para la recopilación de la información recurrí a la etnografía y narrativa. Entre los resultados se encuentran que la Bá cuana es un espacio en el que se concentran diversos aspectos de la vida sociocultural yati, formando parte de la memoria de sus habitantes, quienes se refieren constantemente a ella como un espacio sagrado y de vínculo de los habitantes con un modo de ser bini yati.
