CECILIO GUZMÁN DE ROJAS: EL ANDE VISTO CON SENTIMIENTO ESTÉTICO
Abstract
El propósito de este trabajo es analizar y describir el aporte del campo artístico de principios del siglo XX como una manifestación inaugural a la denominada filosofía telúrica en Bolivia. Las representaciones artísticas tuvieron la finalidad de trasmitir una serie de mensajes políticos simbolizados en retratar el paisaje y el hombre andino de forma idealista, serena, rodeada de un ambiente agradable, suave y colorido, que luego pasa a ser la expresión de un ideario político representado a través de la corriente filosófica denominada "una mística de la tierra". El artículo se enfoca en esbozar a uno de máximos exponentes de la pintura: el artista Cecilio Guzmán de Rojas.
The purpose of this work is to analyze and describe the contribution of the artistic field of the early twentieth century as an inaugural manifestation to the so - called telluric philosophy in Bolivia. The artistic representations had the purpose of transmitting a series of political messages symbolized in portraying the landscape and the Andean man in an idealistic, serene way, surrounded by a pleasant, soft and colorful environment, which then happens to be the expression of a represented political ideology through the philosophical current called "a mystique of the earth". The article focuses on outlining one of the greatest exponents of painting: the artist Cecilio Guzmán de Rojas.
