Abstract

The realization of this work originates from the need for theoretical tools that allow us to study the nationalist thought of the 50s, from a contemporary perspective; research in which we are just taking the first steps. This article has attempted to systematize the bodies of theory that attempt to address the issue of social identities through the analysis of discourse, imaginaries and extradiscursive conditioning. We believe that with its publication we are making a modest contribution, despite being aware that we have not been able to overcome the theoretic collages that characterize most of the recently published developments on the subject.
