Abstract
El método comunicativo utilizado para la enseñanza de la expresión oral del inglés en la Universidad Nacional del Callao, Perú, es fundamental para la formación de estudiantes competentes. Por tal motivo, esta investigación está basada en un enfoque cualitativo y emplea una revisión de literatura que incluye la recopilación de estudios sobre el tema. Su objetivo es describir la ejecución de este método en la esfera educativa y su resultado en las habilidades orales de los alumnos. Las variables son la metodología de enseñanza y las habilidades comunicativas que se desarrollan. Se utilizan las técnicas de observación y análisis documental. Los hallazgos revelan que el método comunicativo potencia notablemente la fluidez y la seguridad de los alumnos al hablar, subrayando la importancia de la formación continua para los docentes. En conclusión, a pesar de ciertos desafíos, el enfoque comunicativo resulta crucial para una enseñanza eficaz del inglés.
The communicative method used to teach oral expression of English at the National University of Callao, Peru, is fundamental for the formation of competent students. For this reason, this research is based on a qualitative approach and uses a literature review that includes the compilation of studies on the topic. Its objective is to describe the execution of this method in the educational sphere and its result in the oral skills of the students. The variables are the teaching methodology and the communication skills that are developed. Observation and documentary analysis techniques are used. The findings reveal that the communicative method significantly enhances the students' fluency and confidence when speaking, underlining the importance of continuous training for teachers. In conclusion, despite certain challenges, the communicative approach is crucial for effective English teaching.
