Evaluación de procesos tecnológicos de tala y extracción de madera en la Empresa Agroforestal Macurije

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out during the months of December of 2019 to February of 2020 in the rodal 28, belonging to the Company Forest Macurije, located in the municipality of Guane, Pinar del Rio province, Cuba. The main objective was the evaluation of wood logging and extraction technological processes in this place and the proposal of a system of actions that facilitate a correct planning of those activities minimizing their costs, in function of a bigger efficiency and effectiveness in the utilization of the forest machinery. It was made a study of the different models and methodologies for the pruning and extraction of the wood. The used methodology was according to the Cuban norm (NC 34-37) for the exploitation of agricultural and forest machines and the (NC 38-43) concerning the economic calculations. The obtained results demonstrate that the biggest use is achieved during the wood logging process with 88,04 %, and the optimal exploitation of the different machines that intervene in the activity of forest use is fundamental to decrease the economic parameters related to the reduction of the operations’ costs. It’s indispensable a correct organization of the forest use process, planning a group of actions to improve the efficient use of the machines and thus to decrease the economic costs.
