Abstract
El turismo territorial en Ecuador es vital para la economía y el desarrollo local, enfocándose en la óptima utilización de los recursos regionales y la participación comunitaria. Este estudio se centró en un diagnóstico de la provincia de Pastaza y la creación de un plan de revitalización cultural en Kotokocha para impulsar el turismo comunitario. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativo-descriptiva, incluyendo revisión bibliográfica y el inventario del Instituto Nacional del Patrimonio Cultural. El plan aborda la preservación de tradiciones locales amenazadas y la educación cultural a través de talleres. Se identificaron elementos culturales en riesgo en Pastaza y se diseñaron acciones específicas para preservarlos en Kotokocha. Este enfoque busca no solo proteger la identidad cultural local, sino también promover el desarrollo sostenible mediante la valorización de recursos y la participación comunitaria en la gestión del patrimonio.

The plan addresses the preservation of threatened local traditions and cultural education through workshops. Cultural elements at risk were identified in Pastaza and specific actions were designed to preserve them in Kotokocha. This approach seeks not only to protect local cultural identity, but also to promote sustainable development through the valorization of resources and community participation in heritage management.
