Abstract
Resumen: En el mundo actual, el medio ambiente es una preocupación importante, con vistas a la sostenibilidad de nuestro planeta. Un aspecto muy relevante es el control de la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero, que serán estudiadas en este trabajo, analizando sus inputs y sus outputs desde un punto de vista económico. Para ello, utilizando datos de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura (FAO) como fuente principal, se han realizado diversos análisis como el análisis econométrico o cluster, en una muestra de 48 países de todo el mundo. Como conclusión, se puede comprobar la relación entre la evolución de la importancia de la agricultura y la emisión de estos gases. Del mismo modo, se aprecia un mayor compromiso de los países desarrollados.
Abstract: In today's world, the environment is an important concern, with a view to the sustainability of our planet. A very relevant aspect is the control of greenhouse gases emissions, which will be studied in the agricultural sector, analysing its inputs and outputs from an economic perspective. With such aims in mind, using data from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as main source, several analyses have been performed such as econometrics or cluster analysis, with a sample of 48 countries worldwide. In conclusion, the relationship between the evolution of the importance of agriculture and these gases emissions can be verified. Similarly, a greater commitment of developed countries is appreciated.
