Abstract

La obra reflexiva de Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005) es una vasta interpretacion de la cultura partiendo de la configuracion de una hermeneutica. Podria decirse que junto con la teoria hermeneutica elaborada por Hans Georg Gadamer (1900-2012) constituye una de las confi guraciones de la hermeneutica mas importante de nuestro tiempo.En su proposito, parte de una reflexion del simbolo que se desprende de la tradicion teologica, en el analisis de“los simbolos primarios”: la mancha, lo labil, el mal, la culpa…, en una amplia reflexion que tiene como centro ellenguaje y, a partir de alli, la metafora y el relato; y los procesos de precomprension y comprension en una problematizacion de las nociones kantianas de tiempo , espacio y causacion; todo en confluencia hacia una teoria del textoy el fenomeno estetico. La hermeneutica de Paul Ricoeur, desde su concepcion del simbolo a la teoria del discurso y su predicacion, desde la labilidad y la culpa a la teoria del texto y la cosa del texto, desde su reflexion sobre la fe a su teoria estetica,configura un horizonte reflexivo que es uno de los ambitos fundamentales del pensamiento que nos es contemporaneo.
