Textiles y rituales en las comunidades de pastores altoandinas del Cuzco

Abstract

En los pueblos andinos del Perú, los rituales tienen un rol fundamental dentro de la vida social, cultural, económica, política y étnica. En los contextos rituales, los tejidos unkhuña¹, missa unkhuña y poncho cumplen un rol primordial. En esta oportunidad me intereso por mostrar el uso de los tejidos en las ceremonias de propiciación de la fecundidad y reproducción de los camélidos, walqanchi y qaqatarpay, en las sociedades de pastores del centro poblado de Santa Bárbara de la región del Cuzco (Perú). Las ceremonias propiciatorias tienen como meta propiciar el bienestar tanto de los animales como de los pastores.In the Andean towns of Peru, the rituals have a fundamental roll inside social, cultural, economic, political and ethnic life. Inside this ritual context, the weaves unkhuña, missa unkhuña and poncho play a role fundamental. In this opportunity, I'm interested to show to the use of weaves inside the ceremonies of incentive the fecundity and the reproduction of the llamas and alpacas, walqanchi (to put the necklace to the alpacas) y qaqatarpay (to make reach to the ray), in the societies of the shepherds of the center town of Santa Barbara of the region of Cuzco (Peru). The ceremonies of fertility have a objective to reach the well-being after his animal like for them.
