Abstract

The digital age has come to take over the mission of museums amid the consequences that the coronavirus pandemic has brought with it. This work is a reliable example of everything that can be done in terms of communication in social networks to keep museums institutions alive, from a group of communicative actions that they propose to implement in Tranquilino Sandalio de Noda” Natural History Museum” in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. In order to develop these activities, an in-depth study of experiences of other museums in the world was carried out that are experiencing in the same way the negative impacts of this disease, through a qualitative exploratory study through documentary and bibliographic research. Its relevance lies in continuing to show the public the experience of the center in times when the virus does not allow face-to-face interaction. The subsequent implementation of these actions proposals will constitute a communication and digital achievement for the institution under study.
