Abstract
El rendimiento académico identifica los logros de aprendizajes necesarios en el proceso educativo y se ven influenciados por diversas características. Este estudio tuvo como propósito identificar la relación entre autoestima y rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de Enfermería. La investigación fue correlacional y transversal. Se utilizó el instrumento Inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith. Participaron 88 estudiantes de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (UNASAM) Ancash- Perú. Se observó en los resultados que la mayoría de estudiantes obtuvieron niveles de autoestima alto y un rendimiento académico bajo. Además, se demostró que no existe estadísticamente una correlación significativa entre autoestima y rendimiento académico.
Academic performance identifies the learning achievements necessary in the educational process and is influenced by various characteristics. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-esteem and academic performance of Nursing students. The research was correlational and cross-sectional.
