Discurso xenofóbico: El migrante venezolano en las publicaciones y comentarios de Facebook de Página Siete y El Deber durante el 2019-2020

Abstract
La investigación tiene como objetivo identificar la construcción del discurso xenofóbico en las noticias y comentarios de Facebook de los periódicos de Página Siete y El Deber, con el fin de contribuir al diálogo sobre migración y xenofobia en espacios digitales. Tiene una muestra intencional de 38 noticias y sus comentarios. Usa una metodología mixta de análisis de contenido y discurso. Los resultados muestran las representaciones de actores en los dos periódicos, la percepción de amenaza del venezolano y los juegos semánticos para hablar sobre ellos, demostrando que las diferentes estrategias discursivas construyen el discurso xenofóbico dentro de la cognición social racista.
The research aims to identify the construction of xenophobic discourse in the news and Facebook comments of Página Siete and El Deber newspapers, in order to contribute to the dialogue on migration and xenophobia in digital spaces. It has a purposive sample of 38 news items and their comments. It uses a mixed methodology of content and discourse analysis. The results show the representations of actors in the two newspapers, the threat perception of the Venezuelan and the semantic games to talk about them, demonstrating that the different discursive strategies construct the xenophobic discourse within the racist social cognition.
