Abstract

At the same time to inquire with specialists of the same career the theoretical sustenance that photographs could have to be taken into account as a tool for data collection and analysis. To this end, this research was carried out under a qualitative approach, using bibliographic analysis and semi-structured interviews as tools for data collection. It was based on the idea that photographs were used simply as support for the research carried out or as a filler in the annexes. In this sense the idea to be defended was proved, since it was possible to verify that the photographs had no other purpose than the one described above. Finally, based on suggestions from specialists, we concluded that basic knowledge about the use of photographs as a tool for analysis and data collection, within the qualitative approach, should be spread.
