Abstract
En la presente investigación el principal objetivo fue determinar la relación existente entre la gestión del talento humano, la motivación y el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores de un hospital público de Huaraz, Perú. La metodología tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional y de tipo aplicada. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 86 trabajadores nombrados en la parte asistencial del hospital. La recolección de datos se dio mediante la aplicación de encuestas como técnica y como instrumentos los cuestionarios. Los resultados fueron que existe una correlación significativa y positiva entre la gestión del talento humano, la motivación y las dimensiones rendimiento en la tarea, comportamientos contraproducentes y rendimiento en el contexto, todo esto con un nivel de significancia de p=0.000 y confianza del 95%. Se concluyó que existe una correlación significativa y positiva entre la gestión del talento humano, la motivación y el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores de un hospital público de Huaraz, Perú.
