Abstract
Este artículo corresponde a una revisión analítica de la realidad educativa de niños y niñas que asisten a escuelas rurales y de las posibilidades que otorga la resiliencia académica en la mejora de sus resultados de aprendizaje. Frente a la pregunta de cómo mejorar la educación rural, y considerando los escasos estudios al respecto, surge el interés por conocer alternativas que podrían constituirse en estrategias susceptibles de ser replicadas en estos contextos. Para esto, se realiza una revisión documental del contexto rural y su educación, el concepto de resiliencia académica y su impacto en el aprendizaje, y se elabora algunas sugerencias a explorar para mejorar la educación que reciben niños y niñas en contextos rurales
This article is an analytical review of the educational reality of children attending rural and opportunities that the academic resilience in improving learning outcomes in schools. When asked how to improve rural education, and considering the few studies on the subject, there is the interest in learning alternative strategies that could become liable to be replicated in these contexts. For this, a literature review of the rural context and educati on, the concept of academic resilience and its impact on learning is performed, and some suggestions are drawn to explore in order to improve the educati on they receive children in rural contexts.
