Abstract

The reliability of the instruments was high, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.892 for the effective personality variable and 0.901 for academic self-efficacy. The results indicate that the efficacious personality significantly influences academic self-efficacy, with the dimension "responsiveness" being a significant predictor of self-efficacy. This personal style is characterized by active, calm, assertive, independent and confident decision-making, which favors the achievement of academic self-efficacy.
