Abstract
Maria Rivas Baudilia Belandria, known as "Doña Maruja" during the twentieth century contributed with the creation and training of professionals in the National Schools of Nursing Valencia and Mérida, one of the first Licensed Nursing who provided management with significant changes the constitution of university education in nursing.
