Inteligencia emocional y el desempeño laboral: claves para el éxito de organizaciones peruanas

| dc.description.abstract | El estudio planteado analiza la influencia de la inteligencia emocional (IE) sobre el desempeño laboral (DL) en una empresa comercial de Lima - Perú. Con relación a la metodología, se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal; se aplicaron instrumentos validados y confiables a una muestra censal de 60 colaboradores. Asimismo, se evaluó la influencia de las cinco dimensiones de la IE -autoconciencia, autorregulación, automotivación, conciencia y habilidades sociales- sobre el DL, logrando hallar una relación significativa (R=0.951; R²=0.903). Los análisis inferenciales se realizaron mediante un modelo de regresión lineal, el cual evidenció que todas las dimensiones de la IE predicen de forma significativa el DL, destacando a las habilidades sociales (R²=0.767) y la conciencia social (R²=0.760) como las de mayor impacto. El estudio concluye indicando que, fomentar la IE en los colaboradores mejora su rendimiento, motivación y bienestar laboral. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | This study analyzes the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) on job performance (DP) in a commercial company in Lima, Peru. The methodology used was a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design; validated and reliable instruments were applied to a census sample of 60 employees. The influence of the five dimensions of EI-self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, conscientiousness, and social skills-on DP was also evaluated, revealing a significant relationship (R=0.951; R²=0.903). Inferential analyses were performed using a linear regression model, which showed that all dimensions of EI significantly predict DP, with social skills (R²=0.767) and social awareness (R²=0.760) having the greatest impact. The study concludes by indicating that fostering EI in employees improves their performance, motivation, and well-being at work. | en |
