Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la producción científica publicada en las bases de datos Scopus y Scielo entre 2020 y 2025 sobre las competencias laborales en egresados universitarios de la carrera de Derecho. Se desarrolló una revisión sistemática bajo los lineamientos del método PRISMA, que permitió identificar, seleccionar y sintetizar la evidencia disponible. Los resultados revelaron una notable escasez de investigaciones centradas específicamente en el ámbito jurídico, pese a la amplia literatura sobre competencias laborales en otras disciplinas. Los diez estudios analizados coinciden en que la formación del abogado debe trascender la enseñanza teórica, integrando dimensiones éticas, cognitivas, emocionales y tecnológicas que fortalezcan la empleabilidad y el compromiso social. Asimismo, se constató que las metodologías activas, la educación continua y la innovación pedagógica constituyen factores decisivos para el desarrollo de competencias orientadas a la toma de decisiones fundamentadas y éticas. En conjunto, los hallazgos evidencian la necesidad de que las universidades reestructuren sus programas hacia modelos educativos basados en competencias, capaces de articular la excelencia técnica con la integridad moral y la responsabilidad social en el ejercicio del Derecho.
The aim of the study was to analyze the scientific production published in the Scopus and Scielo databases between 2020 and 2025 on labor competencies in university law graduates. A systematic review was carried out under the guidelines of the PRISMA method, which made it possible to identify, select and synthesize the available evidence. The results revealed a notable scarcity of research focused specifically on the legal field, despite the extensive literature on job skills in other disciplines. The ten studies analyzed agree that the training of lawyers should transcend theoretical teaching, integrating ethical, cognitive, emotional and technological dimensions that strengthen employability and social commitment. It was also found that active methodologies, continuing education and pedagogical innovation are decisive factors for the development of competencies oriented to informed and ethical decision-making. Overall, the findings show the need for universities to restructure their programs towards competency-based educational models, capable of articulating technical excellence with moral integrity and social responsibility in the practice of law.
