Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the levels of family violence in the homes of students in the sixth and seventh cycle of educational centers in Lima, 2023. With a quantitative analysis, of a basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and descriptive level. The universe was from the VI and VII cycle of secondary education of 15 Educational Institutions (IEs) in North Lima, with a valid sample of 525 students between 11 and 18 years old, the sampling method was non-probabilistic for convenience. The survey technique and the online form of 30 items on a Likert-type ordinal scale were used. The data were analyzed with the Kruskal-Wallis test. The results showed a higher range for physical violence and a higher number of students who express this type of violence in their homes, followed by psychological and sexual violence in its different manifestations. The test statistic with a Chi-square value of 29.685 and p value: 0.000 < α: 0.01 shows that there are highly significant differences between the types of violence, with a predominance of physical violence from parents towards students in the IEs of Lima Norte.
