Abstract
Sobre la base de la revisión de las leyes promulgadas a favor de las personas adultas mayores, en Bolivia, Costa Rica y Uruguay, este trabajo analiza los alcances de dichas leyes, en el marco de los derechos sociales. Plantea que, independientemente de la existencia de normas secundarias, dichos alcances son particularmente diferentes, y limitados, en términos generales, ante el grave problema del envejecimiento de la población.
Based on the revision of the laws enacted in favour of older adults, in Bolivia, Costa Rica and Uruguay, this paper analyses their scope in terms of social rights.
